Crazyy crazyyy birthday week!

So many things have happened this week!

My companion and I are working hard, but so far, no baptisms. But that's sure to change soon. We're sure of it.

We went to visit investigators with Marlon (our recent convert) and he is so cool!!! He was amazing during the lesson sharing his testimony and he really enjoyed it! This weekend when he's not working he said he would join us again! We're pretty darn excited!

We had a retention meeting and had to wake up early for that, but I got to see a few of my friends and we ate really well! Then we went back to our area and ate a second lunch! It was pretty hard to walk after that. More like waddling.

Monday was my birthday! We woke up at 6:30 (it was amazing) and studied and cleaned and ate lunch with Hna. Elsa and Hna. Leti. That was really tasty!

Later we went to buy groceries. When we came out we saw a bunch of teenagers in school uniforms in lines in the streets, blocking the cars and buses. The had signs saying that they wanted computer equipment and teachers for technology. So we hopped on a bus that was looking for a way out. But this driver and his assistant were really angry. They kept inching forward towards the teens until they were about nose and nose. The horn was blowing like crazy and the kids were standing with their eyes closed, not doing a single things. Hermana Sol and I felt awful. The spirit was not there and we felt gross. So we just got off and had to walk to the highway. We walked there for a bit until we hitched a ride back to our area. We got back to the house and slept for a bit and then left.

That night we spent running around between members houses having lessons there with investigators while they gave us cake! That was pretty great! All in all, I had 5 different cakes! And it was pday! A very very very good birthday!

Today we had our zone training and interviews with President Brough. Those are so good and I always leave crying! haha, but we also had a good surprise, all of our mission has cell phones now! For a lot of people, that may not seem like a big deal, but we're the only mission in all of Central America that has them and we're being monitored to see if it helps. If it does, all of Central America gets phones. But we only get to be the pilot group because we're obedient. So yay for exact obedience!

One sad thing, the girl that my companion trained went home early last week. I won't tell you her name, but if you could pray for her, I know that would mean a lot to me and my companion.

Thank you so much for your love and support and prayers!
Hermana Weatherford
